OREANDA-NEWS. January 13, 2009. The Moldovan government welcomes the resumption of Russian gas supplies and transit via Ukraine to the European countries and Moldova, as well as the launch of this process, reported the Official website http://gov.md.

At the same time, we have to ascertain that, the announced gas quantities have not been delivered to Moldova for officially unknown reasons.

At present, Moldova is supplied a minimal quantity of gas via the Alexeevca pipeline in order to provide the household consumers and the social institutions. Regretfully, there is no technical possibility to supply gas to the consumers who have already been cut off from the gas pipelines.

At the same time, all the consumers are supplied with electric energy in the necessary volume, and there are no risks of disconnection from network.
