Four Banks Become Open Joint-Stock Banks in Uzbekistan
OREANDA-NEWS. On January 14, 2009 Central Bank of Uzbekistan re-issued licenses on carrying out banking operations and general license on carrying out hard currency operations to four banks due to change of their organizational status, reported the Official website www.investuzbekistan.uz.
Asaka Bank state joint-stock commercial bank was renamed to Asaka Bank state joint-stock commercial bank (OJSC), while Galla Bank national joint-stock commercial bank became Galla Bank open joint-stock commercial bank.
Pakhta Bank and Capital Bank changed their organizational status from joint-stock commercial banks to open joint-stock commercial banks.
