OREANDA-NEWS. On January 14, 2009 Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko claimed that Ukrainian gas transportation system is and will remain in state ownership. Such statement was made by the Prime Minister of Ukraine at a press conference.

Yulia Tymoshenko reminded that on the political force’s initiative which she heads, the Parliament had taken a decision on the ban of lease, concession or privatization of the national GTS.

“The gas transportation system of Ukraine remains national by 100 percent and will execute its functions,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine stressed.
