OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2009. Karelia-ROSNO branch has won the tender for conclusion of the public contract for MOD and OMTPL insurance coverage of the transport vehicles belonging to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Karelia. The aggregate liability limit is 3 million 570 thousand roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

Following the results of the tender, the branch has concluded OMTPL contracts covering obligatory motor third party liability of the drivers of the Ministry’s three transport vehicles for 1 million 200 thousand roubles and the MOD contracts for these vehicles for the amount of 2 million 370 thousand roubles. The insurance protection will be valid for 1 year.

The insurer selection procedure was organized in form of an open tender, pursuant to the Federal Law dated 21 July 2005 No.94-FZ "Placement of orders for supply of goods, works and services for public and municipal purposes".

Five federal-scale insurers had participated in this open tender.
