OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2009. “AtaLeasing” OJSC successfully  accomplished the year 2008. The Company increased leasing portfolio up to 1.0 million manat and it made up 3.5 million manat for December, 31. In comparision with the analogical period of 2007, the leasing portfolio incresead 40%. 75 contracts were signed in 2008, as 93 active leasing contracts were in activity. The volume of equipment given for leasing made up 3.7 million manat. Volume  of  investment put into economy  made up 2.8 million manat.

 In  2008 91,4% of leasing portfolio falls on Baku and  8,6% of it falls on regions of Azerbaijan.(Oguz 1,9%, Mingachevir 2,5%, Sumgait 2,5%, Davachi 0,4%, Goychay 0,4%, Imishli 0,4%, Lankaran0,4 %).

Indicator of portfolio according the sectors was as following: construction- 34,4%, industrial sector 17,4%, transport sector  17,3%, food industry-11,1%, trade sector-11,1%, infrastructure 1,7%, service sector 4,5%, textile industry- 1,9%, medicine 0,8%, municipal economy and 0.3%  communication.

The company completed business year  with profit by signing leasing contracts in 2008. In comparison with the appropriate period of the last year, efficient  assets of “AtaLeasing” OJSC  inreased 40 % and made up 3.5 million manat. During the report period the company increased the  income of the company 39% and made up 945.676 manat,  profit was increased 89% and made up 341.278 manat. Net profit made up 269.945 manat.

According to the  results of 2008   ROE made up 27%, ROA made up 7,7% and so in comparison with the results of 2007  growth was observerd with  ROE +3% and ROA+0.5% . “AtaLeasing” OJSC company was  founded by “AtaHolding” OJSC and “AtaBank” OJSC has its authorized capital in amount of USD 1 (one) million manats.
