OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 January 2009 was announced, that CenterTelecom OJSC has effected payment of dividend on nominal non-documentary common shares for 2007 in the amount of RUR0.3547131 per share.

In accordance with a decision of CenterTelecom's annual general meeting of shareholders held on June 25, 2008, the company allocated RUR559,739,693.47  for the payment of dividends on common shares for 2007. CenterTelecom has already paid RUR555,125,150.04 or 99.18% of all dividends payable.

Obligations to pay out dividends on this category of the company’s equity shares have been fulfilled in full, except where the company is not held liable in accordance with Article 44 of the Federal Law “On Joint Stock Companies” and the Statute “On Dividend Policy”, which was approved by CenterTelecom’s BoD, namely:

where a shareholder has failed to supply or has supplied incorrect banking details for the transfer of dividend payouts;

failure by a shareholder or his/her heir  to appear at the company’s cash office to collect dividends.
