OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 January 2009 was announced, that IJSC Ingosstrakh has paid RUR 927,540 in compensation to the owner of a Mercedes Benz S600 under a hull insurance policy. The car was damaged in an accident in the South East Administrative District of Moscow. The driver of the Mercedes car was making a left turn at an intersection and failed to give way to the oncoming vehicle which had traffic advantage, and the two cars collided.  The client’s vehicle was insured under a full motor hull insurance policy against the risks of theft and damage for RUR 5,600,000.

The total sum paid by Ingosstrakh on January 11 in compensation of vehicle insurance claims of its retail clients in Moscow and the region amounts to RUR 48,410,996.
