OREANDA-NEWS. The management team of OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel (“MMC Norilsk Nickel” or “the Company”) will visit the cities of Norilsk and Krasnoyarsk on January 14-16, reported the press-centre of Norilsk Nickel.

The group of key executives will be comprised of General Director Vladimir Strazhalkovsky, Chairman of the Board of Directors Alexander Voloshin, and a number of directors from main business units of the Company.

General Director will introduce the new Chairman of the Board of Directors to the managers of the Polar Division, and First Deputy General Director Valery Matvienko who will supervise the Company’s operational performance.  Mr. Strzhalkovsky also plans to meet with the representatives of Norilsk City Administration.

In Krasnoyarsk, Messrs. Strzhalkovsky and Voloshin will hold negotiations with Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Khloponin, where they intend to discuss the prospects for further cooperation of MMC Norilsk Nickel and Krasnoyarsk region.

In the course of this visit, Norilsk executives will also take part in the meeting devoted to operational results and development plans of OJSC Yenissey River Shipping Company.
