OREANDA-NEWS. January 13, 2009. Khachmaz modular electric power station implemented the target forecast on power generation by 5.9%.

The Azerenerji (National Electric Company) press service citing station’s director Shalbuz Zakiyev reports that in 2008 generation of electricity made 410 million kWh that is by 23 million kWh more against the forecast.

“In December 2008 it was generated 38 million kWh of power versus the forecast of 35 million kWh,” Zakiyev emphasized.

The station commissioned in December 2006 has 10 power units with overall capacity of 87 MW.
