OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 January 2009 was announced, that the transition of ERP of IDGC of Centre's SAP system to a new hardware platform placed in the Data Processing Centre of JSC CorSsys which was opened on 20 December 2008 in Valuiki town, was completed.

Such migration will allow to provide uninterrupted functioning and development of IT solutions maintained by IDGC of Centre. Implementation of such a project is aimed to maintain an effective operation of the corporate information system; It will minimize a probability of idleness, and will considerably raise productivity of ERP system.

The operation of the DATA center was built on the basis of the operation of SPARC Enterprise M9000 servers made by Fujitsu Siemens which are designed for implementation of important applications demanding average or high efficiency of calculation.

The principle of the solution offered by Fujitsu Siemens and realized in JSC CorSsys is an organization of transparent and completely integrated infrastructure of two Data Processing Centers which are located on different territories. This promotes flexible operation by the computing resources located on two independent platforms which are located on different territories.

"The DATA center is not only one of the most powerful among its analogues in Russia, but under certain parameters is among the leaders of the top-level world DATA centers. Therefore, 15 thousand simultaneously working users needn't be only from IDGC of Centre. Other users who need services of the computer data processing system should also be enabled to participation in the system, starting with territorial administrations," the General Director of IDGC of Centre Evgeniy Makarov says.
