OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 January 2009 was announced, that the company General Director Evgeniy Makarov, top managers and heads of IDGC structural divisions, representatives of the Rower Management Consulting company, having a rich experience in realization of similar projects in electric power industry, have taken part in the meeting.

The major objective of the project is a growth of efficiency of branches' activities in medium and long-term prospect, increase of transparency of their operational activities, and also creation of conditions for professional and personal development of employees through their involvement in the managerial process by economic activities.

The participants of the meeting have marked that Efficiency Improvement System (EIS) realization should be carried out with obligatory observance of the action plan. For today, the method of the efficiency improvement system is adapted for IDGC of Centre's conditions.

The meeting decided to allot the status of the independent business process to the efficiency improvement system.

The first stage planned till February 2009 stipulates realization of EIS in two pilot projects - in Kurskenergo and Orelenergo branches. The second stage to be realized till June 2009 stipulates implementation of the EIS in Belgorodenergo, Lipetskenergo, and Kostromaenergo branches. The third stage provides realization of the efficiency improvement system in Tambovenergo, Yarenergo, Voronezhenergo, Tverenergo, and Smolenskenergo branches. The implementation of the EIS in all IDGC branches is planned in November 2009.

Within this period, it is planned to develop solutions on decrease in the capital intensity, optimization of operational and purchasing activities due to more effective use of capacities and resources, reduction of industrial losses, optimization of logistics, etc.
