OREANDA-NEWS. On 12 January 2009 was announced, that Belarus’ state-run Belgospischeprom trading house on January 14 will hold a tender to buy 49 billion Belarusian rubles’ worth of crop protecting agents for sugar beet and 2 billion rubles’ worth of micronutrient fertilizers for sugar beet, a source in the trading house told.

Belgospischeprom invites resident and non-resident suppliers of weedicides, insecticides and fungicides to procure enough crop protecting agents for 95,000 hectares.

The first batches of protecting agents and fertilizers must be supplied by March 25, 2009. The contract must be signed before March 1.

The final day for making bids is January 13, 2009.
