Russia Will Help Republic of South Africa to Launch Satellite in 2009
OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2009. Anatoly Perminov, Roscosmos Head, states that Russian launcher is planned to loft a South African satellite in 2009. "We hope to complete it in mid 2009", said Anatoly Perminov questioned about space cooperation between Russia and the Republic of South Africa by the journalists. According to the Head of the Russian Federal Space Agency, a lot of peaceful space collaboration issues were discussed during his recent meeting with the representative of the South African government. "Now we are in process selecting a LV for the South African satellite”, says Mr. Perminov.
