OREANDA-NEWS. On 31 December 2008 was announced, that at the meeting held on 29th of December, 2008, the National Control Commission for Prices and Energy took a unilateral decision to establish and announce the prices and tariffs of electricity supplied by Rytu Skirstomieji Tinklai, AB and the procedure of their application.

As of 1st of January, 2009, the electricity price for household consumers will increase by 3 LTC/kWh (including 18 % VAT) or 4 LTC/kWh (including 19 % VAT).

Electricity price for commercial customers, which are connected to the medium voltage networks will rise 2.6 LTC/kWh (without VAT) and which are connected to the low voltage networks will rise 2.8 LTC/kWh (without VAT).
