OREANDA-NEWS. On 31 December 2008 was announced, that last Friday, December 26 the Supervisory Board of NASK "Оranta" made a decision to withdraw from the League of Insurance Organisations (Nonprofit association of insurance market participants founded in 1992) "in connection with the fact that the "Оranta" became one of the founders of the Ukrainian Insurance Federation".

We should remind that on December 23, 2008 the Ukrainian Insurance Federation performed procedure of the state registration, on the same day the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine gave the consent to its foundation. 10 insurance companies became the Founders of the Federation, notably: NASK "Оranta", ОАО USK "Generally Garant", ZАО АSК "INGO Ukraine", SG "ТАС", ОАО SK "Universal", ZАО SК "АХА Insurance", ZАО SК "Generally Garant Life Insurance", ZАО "European Tourist Insurance", ZАО SК "Oranta-Life" and ZАО "Prosto-Strakhovanie. Life and Pension".

The Ukrainian Insurance Federation has been founded to assist in development of a classic insurance in Ukraine acc. to the principle of transparency, ensuring a high level of insurance services to be rendered by the Members of the Federation, integration of Ukrainian and European markets of insurance, protection of the Federation Members, non-admission of the Members' fraudulent activity.
