OREANDA-NEWS. On 31 December 2008 was announced, that a golf club is to be put up within the area occupied by Luzhniki sports complex in Moscow, a source from City Hall said.

“The acts of the permitted use of the plots allocated for developing the golf club building and a number of mixed-use facilities within Luzhniki sports complex have been approved. The construction will be carried out on 24 Luzhniki Street, bldg 15, 17-20,” the official noted.

According to him, the golf club will be developed in the area of 0.21 ha.

“The ultimate total area of the object will exceed 3,000 sq m, including the superstructure with the area of more than 2,000 sq m and the 840sq m substructure. The building will be equipped with parking lots,” the source added.

Each of the four mixed-use facilities will be erected on a separate plot with the area of roughly 0.2 ha within Luzhniki.

“Every building will be provided with enough place for parking in the nearby car parks located in Luzhniki sports complex,” the official concluded.
