OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2008. As resolved by the Ukrainian Pension Fund's Tender Committee for the partner banks for opening and maintaining social allowance and pension accounts (upon customer's discretion, the recipient of the pension or social allowance will open an account with one of the shortlisted banks to receive the respective allowance), Megabank's contract has been prolonged until 01.01.2010, reported the press-centre of Megabank.

With a thorough look at the NBU's opinion on the bank's financial state and six-month compliance results, and the bank's pensions and allowance-related paying behavior, the committee reached this decision 9 December, 2008.

As of 01.12.08, 27 thousand of pensioners and 52 thousand of social allowance recipients are served with Megabank, by 5 thousand pensioners and 12 thousand social allowance recipients more over 2008. Megabank reports 11-month social payments of UAH 253m, which is practically as twice against the same period last year.

We are soundly responsible about maintaining pension and social allowance payments. The increasing number of the social account holders and the volume of the social payments proves this point.
