OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2008. The Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostekhnadzor) issued a new license for the construction of the 1st unit of Novovoronezh NPP-2.

The 2nd unit received similar license Sept 30 2008.

Following Rostekhnadzor’ decision, the administration of Novovoronezh issued permission for the construction of the 1st and 2nd units of Novovoronezh NPP-2.

Presently, the constructors of the 2nd unit are preparing for the principal stage of the project.
