OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2008. According to preliminary information, in 2008 the 10 nuclear power plants of Russia generated 162.3bln KWh.

The plants with WWER reactors produced 85.9ln KWh (104.9% of the index of 2007), the plants with RBMK, BN and EGP reactors – 76.4ln KWh (100% of the index of 2007).

Thus, the plant fulfilled 100.5% of the annual electricity production plan.

The capacity factor was 76.5% — 1.8% higher than a year before.
