OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2008. Gas prices for Ukraine could equal USD 418 per 1,000 cu m as of January 1, 2009. As the gas holding's press service reported, a statement to this effect was made by Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller at the negotiations with a delegation from Naftogaz of Ukraine Monday. "If we switch to market (relevant European) prices for Ukraine, as of January 1, 2009 the settlement price should be equal to USD 418 per 1,000 cu m" – he said.
