OREANDA-NEWS. On 30 December 2008 was announced, that Transcapitalbank and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development have successfully completed the implementation process of SME Lending Program. Since April 2007 till December 2008, the departments of SME Lending were created in 11 branches of the Bank. As part of SME Lending Program more than 800 loans have been granted.

At the next step Transcapitalbank plans to accumulate the portfolio of loans, granted to SME, using the EBRD technologies. The organized and effective lending procedure speeds up the review of customer applications and the decision making process on granting a loan.

The Management of the Bank is confident that SME business needs to be supported and especially  - those companies that trade in inexpensive consumer goods, use its own funds and have established relationships with contractors for supply and marketing.
