IDGC of North-West JSC Received Deputy Chief Engineer
OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2008. Before the new appointment he was the head of the industrial department “Northern Power Grids” of Kolenergo branch of IDGC of North-West (the city of Murmansk).
Gennadiy Alexandrov was appointed deputy chief engineer on operation and technical development of IDGC of North-West, JSC. He started his work in the company since December 16, 2008.

Earlier, Georgiy Turlov appointed in the August of the current year the chief engineer of the company, occupied the position of the deputy chief engineer on operation and technical development.
Gennadiy Andreyevich Alexandrov was born on October 26, 1950. He graduated from Cheboksary power technical secondary school (the city of Cheboksary), and All-Russian State Distance Politechnical Institute (the city of Moscow).
In 1991, he went through advanced training in Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University). The name of the course was “Improvement of the Grids’ Reliability”. In 1998 he went through training “Vacuum switching units” in St. Petersburg Power Engineering Institute. In 2002 he graduated from private non-commercial educational institution “Institute of Management” of RAO UESR taking the course named “Preparation of managing staff for the positions of directors and chief engineers and their deputies at power stations and power grid enterprises”. In 2005 he went through the course “Development management of the company” in the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation. In 2007, he took a course of before exam preparation of “Sevzapenergonadzor” working program in the Center of power industry staff preparation.
Since 1979 he worked in Kolenergo, where occupied the positions of the engineer, senior engineer, technical director, and director of the industrial department “Northern power grids”.
Since December 16, 2008 he has been the deputy chief engineer on operation and technical development of IDGC of North-West, JSC (city of St. Petersburg).
In 2001 he was awarded with the Certificate of Merit of RAO UESR.
He is married and has two sons.
