OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2008. Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, moderated a meeting at the Gazprom Headquarters dedicated to the issues of planning and implementing mid-term activities by Gazprom Neft related to Gazprom’s licensed reserves development.

Attending the meeting were Vasily Podyuk, Member of the Company’s Management Committee, Head of the Gas, Condensate and Oil Production Department, Alexander Dyukov, Chairman of the Gazprom Neft’s Management Committee, heads and experts of Gazprom’s and Gazprom Neft’s relevant subdivisions.

The member participants reviewed the implementation of Gazprom’s Oil Business Strategy and addressed the crucial issues of preparations for the launch of the Novoportovskoye and Tazovskoye fields.

The meeting noted that Gazprom was facing large-scale formidable challenges, of which the most significant were reinforcing the Company’s standing in the market and a timely and efficient development of Gazprom’s oil fields.

Based on the meeting results Gazprom’s and Gazprom Neft’s relevant subdivisions were authorized with the appropriate tasks.
