OREANDA-NEWS. December 26, 2008. The railway has triggered the first stage of drawing up travel documents through Internet. Entering the official website of Ukrzaliznytsya, the section For passengers one can receive information about vacant seats in trains, cost of tickets and book an order through the website with following purchasing of travel tickets in the ticket office. To book the seats is possible 45 days before the departure date.

Payment can be made with a card of National System of Mass Electronic Payments or with an international card (VISA, MasterCard, VISA Electron, Maestro) only for operation of booking travel documents.

In January of 2009 introduction of not only booking but payment of travel documents through Internet is planned, and in second half of the following year – introducing of e-ticket and automatic machines.
