OREANDA-NEWS. December 26, 2008. In December, the insurance company ROSNO has paid insurance compensations in three cases of stolen cargo vehicles — dump trucks KAMAZ 65115 and KAMAZ 6520 and the truck crane KS-55713-1, owned by leasing companies. The aggregate insurance compensation equalled 8,178,604 roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The dump truck KAMAZ 65115 was stolen in Moscow from Khachaturyana Street, where the construction company’s driver resided. This truck, insured in ROSNO against the risks of theft, damage and fire, had not been equipped with anti-theft devices. The compensation of 1,617,604 was paid by ROSNO to the leasing company-owner of the transport vehicle.

The dump truck KAMAZ 6520 was lost to robbery committed with regard to the security personnel of the garage belonging to the construction company and located in Sergievo-Posadsky district of Moscow Region. The attackers beat the security guards, tied them and stole the transport vehicle. The vehicle had been insured in ROSNO against theft, damage and fire. The size of damage reimbursed by the insurer to the leasing company-owner amounted to 2,261,000 roubles.

The truck crane KS-55713-1, based on the chassis of KAMAZ 55111-15, was stolen in the night from the construction site on 9th Severnaya Street in Moscow. Though the transport vehicle was equipped with anti-theft alarm, it failed to protect the vehicle from stealage. The truck crane had been insured in ROSNO under the MOD contract against all risks. The insurance compensation amounted to 4,300,000 roubles. This compensation has been paid to the leasing company.
