OREANDA-NEWS. December 26, 2008.  New medical establishments were opened in Azerbaijan with participation of Azerbaijan’s Minister of Health Ogtay Shiraliyev.

The Ministry informed that the reconstructed perinatal center has been opened in Ganja and Tuberculosis Prophylactic Centre in Barda.

“The establishment in Ganja designed for mother and baby is provided with artificial ventilation system, wards for one and two persons, the department of intensive therapy for new-born babies, modern laboratory etc. The Center in Barda is able to serve 141,000 inhabitants as well as 40,000 refugees and IDPs. The establishment has been provided with the contemporary equipment,” it was informed.
