Belavia Joins IATA Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) in Kazakhstan
OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 December 2008 was announced, that starting from January 1, 2009 Belavia - Belarusian Airlines will become a participating airline of IATA BSP in the area of Kazakhstan in order to expand its sale of passenger transportations abroad.
In the framework of IATA BSP the sale is made by IATA Accredited Agents. Currently more than 80 IATA Agents operate in Kazakhstan.
Participation of Belavia in BSP Kazakhstan will permit the airline customers to buy air tickets practically in all cities of Kazakhstan that is especially important during the period of annual summer passengers’ transportation programme when Belavia performs flights from Germany to Kazakhstan via Minsk.
Since 1995 and to date Belavia has been represented in the IATA BSP system in such countries as Germany, Great Britain, Austria, Italy, Israel, Spain, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Scandinavian countries, Ukraine, Russia, France, Cyprus. The number of BSP Agents who issue E-tickets for Belavia totals tens of thousands.
