Belarus Drafts Laws to Abolish Registration of Prices for New Goods
OREANDA-NEWS. On 25 December 2008 was announced, that a draft presidential ordinance has been prepared in Belarus to abolish registration of prices for new goods and registration of prices for individual entrepreneurs, a source in the Economy Ministry told.
The document suggest abolishing registration of prices (tariffs) for new goods, works and services, except for new medical fees, and exempting individual entrepreneurs (except those providing medical services) from price-formation caps and registration of prices.
Furthermore, the document initiates exemption of companies and entrepreneurs from producing price calculation substantiations if prices remain within the maximum price alteration index set by the government.
It is also planned to exempt companies and entrepreneurs that offer farm produce from presenting price calculation substantiations.
