OREANDA-NEWS. On 25 December 2008 was announced, that during the first 11 months of 2008 passenger traffic at Moscow International Airport Domodedovo amounted to 19 259 909, which is 11% growth compared with the similar period of 2007.

According to statistics Domodedovo airport maintains leadership in the Moscow Aviation Node in passenger traffic.

Considerable growth was shown on Frankfurt, St. Petersburg, Munich, Kaliningrad, Sochi,

Khabarovsk destinations. Domodedovo airport serviced 1 966 793 on these routes during the period

of January – November 2008, this is 1.8 times more than during a similar period of 2007.

International passenger turnover for the period January – November 2008 amounted to 11 376 774 people – 13,1% more than in 2007

Domestic passenger turnover for the period January – November 2008 amounted to 7 883 135 people – 8,0% more than in 2007.
