OREANDA-NEWS. December 23, 2008. A single Inspection of the state port supervision of the Mykolaiv sea commercial port will be created in the area of the Bug-Dnieper-Liman canal. The relevant order “On improvement of state supervision over shipping safety in the Bug-Dnieper-Liman canal” was signed by Minister of Transport Yosyp Vinskyi.

The new Inspection will be entrusted with state supervision over shipping safety in the assigned areas of water, access ducts of sea, river, fish ports and berths, terminals and trans-shipping complexes of non-governmental forms of property adjacent to the Bug-Dnieper-Liman canal, in the Bug-Dnieper-Liman canal, area of water canal of the Mykolaiv port, Spaskyi canal, in navigational routes and areas of water of the Bug-Dnieper region.
