OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 December 2008 was announced, that residents of the Elton settlement of the Pallasovsky District of the Volgograd Region were presented in a solemn procedure with a car – tank truck for transportation of potable water from the EuroChem Company.

Elton is a salt closed solar lake in the North of the Caspian lowland, in a desert on the border with Kazakhstan. Potable waster is delivered to the rural settlement by road transport which is insufficient.

EuroChem responded to the appeal of the Administration of the Volgograd Region and provided the Administration of the Elton settlement of the Pallasovsky Municipal District of the Volgograd Region with assistance paying for acquisition of a truck for organization of water supply of residents of the Elton settlement.

The tank truck for transportation of potable water costs 2.2 million rubles. Chassis - KAMAZ 65115, engine of the ecological standard Euro 3. Ob, volume 9700 l. The tank truck has 3 sections and is equipped with a pump.
