"Nizhnekamskneftekhim" INC put into service another two automated ecological monitoring stations, this time at the second industrial site: Styrene & Polyether Resin Plant and Equipment Stores area. Prior to that, a continuous automatic measuring of contaminants in the atmospheric air was performed at the first industrial site (near the Central Clockhouse ) and in the sanitary-hygienic zone, reported the press-centre of Nizhnekamskneftekhim.

Gas analysis instruments to measure a total hydrocarbon content, nitrogen oxides and dust are operating continuously, a signal from them is communicated through a corporate computer network to the Central Monitor of the Company Environmental Section and to the Company supervisory control room.

Later on, the Company's waster water analysis will also be automated and nonstop.
