On 23 December 2008 was announced, that The Company meets Power Engineers’ Day – 2008 being highly assessed by the Russian and International Project Management Association, which stated that IDGC of Centre, JSC meets international standards and successfully went through the certification within the framework of ISO 9001:2000 with ISO 10006 “Quality management. Quality management together with projects management” special standard. IDGC of Centre, JSC is the first and only Russian Company that went through such stages.

 Besides, it was confirmed that IDGC of Centre, JSC meets the requirements of the third level of the organizational and technological maturity of the company in the sphere of project management “Integrated methodology of projects management” according to the requirements of the companies’ certification system. They were set forth by the Project Management Association SOVNET in accordance with the rules and the methodology of the International Project Management Association (IPMA).

 The certificate was presented to Pavel Obukhov, the Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre, JSC on IT and business modeling. V.I. Voropaev, the President of the Project Management Association SOVNET – SOVNET Chairman of the Board; A.S. Tovb, IPMA Vice-President, and S.D. Bushuev, leading auditor, the member of the certification and validation department presented the certificate

 It is a great achievement for the Company in the sphere of the project management: IDGC of Centre, JSC increased its former level presenting the high quality and productivity of the implemented projects management. It also showed its leading position on Russian and international levels.

 “Our cooperation with the Project Management Association SOVNET was very productive. We gradually went through the stages of organizational and technological maturity level increase in the sphere of projects management and, together with the Association, we are entering the international community of the project management professionals. I am sure that all the projects we are working on should be perfect examples of execution of such activities”, said Pavel Obukhov.

 It should be mentioned that in 2008 the leading position of IDGC of Centre, JSC was approved on Russian and international levels: the company got the international award “Business Process Excellence Award 2008” in the nomination “Bussiness Perfomance Improvement”. The project “IT system development in IDGC of Centre, JSC” took the third place in the final of “Award – 2008’ contest for Perfect project management international award of the International Project Management Association (IPMA).
