OREANDA-NEWS. December 22, 2008.  European Bureau branch of OJSC Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation paid IOJSC Ingosstrakh 815 thousand rubles of reinsurance indemnity in connection with the fire at warehouse LLC MB – Office equipment. The payment is made under obligatory corporate property reinsurance contract.

The insured event took place on 18 October 2006. The back-up warehouse of the Insured was set on fire, resulted from technical failure of electric appliance. Fire, combustion products (carbon dust and smoke), high temperatures, as well as water and water mixtures which were used  in order to put the fire out, completely destroyed or fully damaged commodity stock, office and household appliances, expendable materials.

This event was admitted insured and after receipt of full loss portfolio Transsiberian Re decided to pay the reinsurance indemnity at the rate of 815 thousand rubles.
