OREANDA-NEWS. On December 16, 2008 JSC Aeroflot – Russian Airlines has summed up the results for the November and 11 months of 2008, reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.

In November  2008, the airline carried 692.1 thous. passengers (including 4.5 thous. passengers on its charter flights) and performed 2 bln 89 mln passenger-kilometres. Passenger load factor amounted to 68.0%, and commercial load reached the 56.5% mark in November.

Compared to activities in 2007, November saw growth of the following performance indicators: carriage of passengers increased by 10.3%, and passenger turnover increased by 10.6%. The amount of passenger carriage on international flights rose by 10.2%, while the amount of domestic flights increased by 10.5%.

Over the eleven months of 2008, Aeroflot carried 8 mln. 605 thous. passengers and performed 25 bln 227 mln passenger-kilometres. Passenger load factor amounted to 71.5%, and commercial load reached the 56.7% mark.

As compared to the indicators in 2007, over the eleven months there were the following increases in the indicators: passenger carriage volume rose by 14.2%, while passenger turnover rose by 10.9%.
