OREANDA-NEWS. December 19, 2008. The insurance company ROSNO has become one of the six winners of the open tender for the right to insure over 400,000 apartments and about 4,500 residential buildings located in Eastern Administrative Area of the Russian capital, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.
 
The tender was held by the Municipal Centre for Housing Insurance. Over 15 insurance companies took part in the tender. The public contract for voluntary housing insurance services concluded between the Municipal Centre for Housing Insurance and ROSNO will stay in force for three years (2009 to 2011).

The insurance company ROSNO has been implementing the housing insurance program in Moscow since 2001, and the program for insurance of general property in apartment blocks — since 2004. The company has insured over 200 thousand apartments and about 100 residential buildings. In 2008, ROSNO settled 1604 insured events, paying over 32 million roubles of insurance compensations.
