OREANDA-NEWS. December 15, 2008. Shareholder Meeting of Farlep-Invest (integrated operator Vega that is a part of telecommunication business of SCM) took place and made changes in company's organization, reported the press-centre of SCM. 

The Shareholder Meeting approved delivery and acceptance statements of six subsidiaries to be reorganized by integration into Farlep-Invest: Intertel, Farlep-Krym as well as subsidiaries of Farlep located in Kiev, Lvov, Mariupol, and Nikolayev. Therefore, the charter of Farlep-Invest was added with a section about legal succession by Farlep-Invest of all rights and obligations of the above subsidiaries. The number of legal entities in Vega Telecommunications Group will shrink therefore from 31 to 25 soon.

The decision of the shareholders was another step in the drive to reorganize the telecommunication group and ensure a common organization. “In 2008 we decided to reduce the number of legal entities within Vega Telecommunications Group to 25 instead of 45 existing, says CEO of Farlep-Invest Yuriy Chuikov”. “Today the goal has been achieved. We intend to continue reorganization in future and cut the number of legal entities to nine”.

Reducing the number of legal entities in the Group and recent rebranding of Vega will help raise efficiency of the business processes, optimize provision of all services by Vega across Ukraine and put more modern procedures in place to improve the quality of services for the customers.
