UkrSibbank to Open Representative Office of Kyiv Regional Department
OREANDA-NEWS. On December 15, 2008 UkrSibbank opened a new representative office of Kyiv Regional Department (KRD). This is one more step forward to achieve the strategic goal – to rank first retail bank nationwide. Current clientele of the Bank tops 1.5 million retail clients, reported the press-centre of UkrSibbank.
UkrSibbank has been operating on the Ukrainian market for 18 years on. The Bank rose from a regional bank to a national and then international bank. Now UkrSibbank is part of BNP Paribas – Group ranked TOP 10 world’s financial institutions.
“I can hardly believe now that the starting point of the Bank is Kharkiv and not Kyiv, since our Head Office is based in the capital. Nevertheless, the capital region was always a priority of UkrSibbank. Kyiv is our second home market, strategically important city and region in general. There are lots of multinational missions and offices of leaders of the economy”, said Oleksandr Adarich, Chairman of the Management Board of JSCIB “UkrSibbank”.
As of today KRD is UkrSibbank’s front line – app. 30% of total banking income. This is the most dynamic representative office of the Bank. And figures can prove it: 27% of total loan portfolio and 34% of deposit one of UkrSibbank is maintained by KRD. More than 2000 employees are operating at 200 branches based in Kyiv, Zhytomyr and Chernigiv regions.
“By opening a new office we intend to be duly represented in Kyiv. We used to lease premises. Now the new office will improve management, cut down costs and create high-quality working conditions and new standards of customer care. All the more so, as this state-of-the-art office will provide services to corporate clients”, commented Konstantin Fedina, Head of Kyiv Regional Department.
Currently “UkrSibbank” is a second-to-none in servicing large businesses. The Bank collaborates with more than 3900 corporate clients that represent top companies of national economy, large companies with turnover of more than USD 10 mln.
