OREANDA-NEWS. December 18, 2008. Expert groups from the Russian space industrial entities carry out integrated assembly operation with the Proton rocket-carrier at Baikonur today. Proton-M launcher is mated with the upper composite which comprises DM upper stage and three Glonass-M satellites covered by the fairing.

This morning, Biakonur Federal Space Center hosted technical management review, the agenda of which was to discuss prelaunch processing progress and roll-out readiness of the space port`s infrastructure.

The roll-out is planned to take place on Dec. 22. Early in the morning the LV will be delivered to launch site 81. Proton-M is to loft three Glonass-M satellites on Dec. 25, at 13:43 Moscow time.
