OREANDA-NEWS  On 18 December was announced, that the local heating stations will be realigned in Moscow. The released area will be occupied by convenience stores, laundries and sports facilities. Development is currently carried out at 44 sites.

The average cost of such projects doesn’t exceed 100 million roubles (~USD 3.57 million). Small and medium-sized businesses are to be involved in the collaboration.

The old one-storey heating stations are to be demolished and new complexes will be raised instead. To keep the residents of the nearby houses from irregularities in heat and hot water supply, the interim block heating stations are to be arranged in the neighbourhoods of Moscow.

All the technical facilities will occupy only the basement floor of the complexes to be built. Besides, the new equipment to be used during development will make the heating stations work more effective and will be more compact, so the area of every complex will increase two times at least.
