OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2008. S7 Airlines, Russia’s largest air carrier by number of transported passengers on domestic routes, has begun flying a second new Boeing 767-300ER long-range airliner under an operational leasing arrangement with AWAS Ltd, reported the press-centre of S7 Airlines.

On December 13, 2008 the company will begin to use the airliner on its non-stop flight along the Moscow-Khabarovsk route. Flight S7111 will depart foure times a week at 20:35 from Moscow Domodedovo Airport.

The non-stop Moscow-Khabarovsk flight is 7 hours and 40 minutes in duration. The return flight, S7112, departs at 11:15 and arrives at Domodedovo 8 hours and 40 minutes later. During the flight passengers will be offered beverages, two hot meals, blankets and a fresh newspaper.

The wide-body Boeing 767-300ER has a spacious passenger compartment layout, which makes long-distance flights as comfortable as can be. The airliner has 12 business-class and 240 economy-class seats. The seats in the economy-class section are arranged in a 2-3-2 scheme, while in the business-class section they are arranged in 3 rows of 2 seats each.

S7 currently uses two Boeing 767-300ERs, three Boeing 737-400s and four Boeing 737-800NGs.
