OREANDA-NEWS. On December 16, 2008 This was disclosed by Minister of Labour and Social Policy of Ukraine Liudmyla Denisova at briefing.

According to Liudmyla Denisova, expenses for social articles won’t be reduced, “Articles setting out capital outlays will be reduced and the rest are protected, social guarantees will be provided by the percentage growth both this and next year”. The Minister assured that social payments would be paid even if the state faces a problem of budget fulfillment.

Liudmyla Denisova stressed that expenses for wages payment to the budget employees would be financed in full. Besides, the Minister of Labour and Social Policy noted that all maternity payments, including one-time aid for a child birth would be performed in full. “We provide means, let it just give birth as the demographic situation, unfortunately, is very difficult in the country. I think that the first task of the state – to finance all maternity and all other payments and to support families where children are born,” Liudmyla Denisova stressed.

In his turn the board of directors Head of the Pension Fund Oleksii Zarudnyi assured that there would not be arrears of pensions. The Head of the Pension Fund also noted that the formation process of the State Budget and the Pension Fund budget would not influence the timeliness of pension payments.
