OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2008. ROSNO’s Ural Directorate has paid a private individual an insurance compensation of 945,417 roubles for the bathhouse damaged by fire in the village Sadovy near Yekaterinburg, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The 2-storied log bathhouse with attic (total space of 100 sq.m.), structural elements and furnishing had been insured together with the house under the Citadel program. The following risks had been insured: fire, lightning, gas explosion, aircraft impact, flood, illegal third-party actions, broken glass, natural disasters, collision with transport vehicles, and falling trees.

The bathhouse has been completely damaged by fire, with the basement and part of the attic wall being the only parts left intact. The fire broke out due to the heat impact on the wooden partitions separating the first and the second floors of the bathhouse building, in the point where a metal pipe from the furnace lays.

The insurance coverage cost the owner 26 thousand roubles.
