OREANDA-NEWS. December 16, 2008. Within the Ministry of Regional Development and Building of Ukraine a Council of Chief Architects of the Autonomous Crimean Republic, regions and cities of Ukraine will be acting. A respective order was inked by the Minister of Regional Development and Building of Ukraine Vasyl Kuibida.

The Council is founded to strengthen coordination of activity in terms of forming and realization of principal lines of the state regional policy in the sphere of town-planning, construction and architecture and will be acting as a constant consultative-advisory body.

Regulation on the Council of Chief Architects of the Crimean AR, regions and cities of Ukraine envisages that the main tasks of the Council appear participation in elaboration and realization of measures in carrying out the state regional policy, town-planning and architecture, facilitating to introduction of innovation ideas and technologies to solve problem issues of reforming of the sphere of town-planning and architecture, holding of elucidative activity, popularization in the society of perspective ideas joined to changes in Ukraine’s legislation in the mentioned area etc.
The Council’s decisions shall be of permissive character.
