OREANDA-NEWS. On December 15, 2008 The Government succeeded in making the capital authorities renew heat supply in dwellings of Kyivans. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko told at a meeting on regulating parameters of macroeconomic figures of the draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2009.

“The Government worked and since Saturday we overcame all obstacles of the mayor. Today both gas and heat step by step appear in dwellings of Kyivans,” the Head of Government stressed.

Yulia Tymoshenko called the mayor’s actions on cutting-off heat and hot water in Kyivans’ dwellings provocations. “I want to say once again: it was a planned political provocation because this is impossible when all consumers pay 100 percent for heat, for hot water, for gas and the mayor pays only 30 percent. It is impossible. This is a scheduled, developed, special program on political destabilization of Kyiv,” the Prime Minister stressed. “Unfortunately, we have to work in such complicated political situation,” Yulia Tymoshenko noted.
