14,135 m is the maximal draft of the ship which was moored by Holenderskie Quay of Maritime Bulk Terminal Gdynia Ltd. on December 9 2008. Alam Penting - serving under the flag of Singapur, is a bulk carrier of length of 229 m, width of 36,54 m and a gross tonnage of 46 962 GT. The unit arrived from Antwerp bringing along over 70 000 tons of coal.

Deepening of channels and modernization of port infrastructure are the elements of Port of Gdynia Authority S.A.'s strategy leading to securing a position of one of Baltic's most important reloading ports.
