Belarus to Export 6mn Deciliters of Beer in 2010
OREANDA-NEWS. December 15, 2008. Belarus plans to increase beer export to 6 million deciliters in 2010, up 13 times from 2007. The Council of Ministers issued Resolution No 1880 to introduce relevant amendments to the brewery industry development programme for 2006-2010, reported the Official website www.government.by.
The Krinitsa brewery is expected to increase export to 1.35 million deciliters in 2010, Olivariya to 700,000 deciliters, Syabar to 2.5 million deciliters. According to the programme, the domestic breweries are projected to export 2.976 million deciliters in 2008, 3.47 million decaliters in 2009.
Commodity distribution networks abroad will be developed and aggressive marketing policy will be pursued. Efforts will be invested to promote advertising campaigns in mass media, participation in national, international and specialist exhibitions, upgrade of the Internet sites.
