OREANDA-NEWS  On 15 December was announced, that Ukrsotsbank repaid a USD 200mln syndicated loan on December 9, 2008. BayernLB (Germany), Calyon (France) and UniCredit Group via Bank Austria Creditanstalt (Austria) arranged the facility. The loan funds were used to finance import-export contracts of the Bank clients, as well as to refinance the previous syndicated loan amounting to USD  250 million which was fully repaid December, 13, 2007

The loan paid 80bp over Libor.

Bayerische Landesbank, Calyon, Bank Austria Creditanstalt, Bayerische Hypo und Vereinsbank AG, Yapi Kredi Nederland N.V., Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe Limited, Alpha Bank A.E., American Express Bank Ltd, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd, Commercial Bank of Kuwait S.A.K., Wachovia Bank N.A., Commerzbank AG, Garanti Bank International N.V., National Bank of Egypt (UK) Limited, BRE Bank SA, the Export-Import Bank of the Republic of China, Landesbank Saar participated in the syndicate.

The first syndicated loan amounting to USD  13 million Ukrsotsbank has raised in September 2003, the second in amounting to USD  45 million - in November 2004, by extending it for one year with the amount increase to USD  80 million in November 2005, the third was raised loan amounting to USD  250 million - in December 2006.
