OREANDA-NEWS  On 12 December was announced, that Ingosstrakh insured 31 hectares of agricultural plantings in the territory of the Orel Region. The insurance covers future crops of winter wheat and triticale of OJSC Orlovskie Chernozemy, LLC Orlovsky Leader and LLC Orelagroinvest integrated in White Frigate Holding Company.

The insurance contract covers such risks as hail, draught, temperatures below required minimal level, damping-off, asphyxiation and frost-killing, and is valid till 2009 inclusive. The total insured amount exceeds RUR 383 mln.

Throughout their cooperation history Ingosstrakh insured vehicles, production facilities, commercial stocks and crops of White Frigate.

Ingosstrakh has performed agricultural insurance services for White Frigate since 2007.

White Frigate Holding Company is one of Russia’s leading operators in the meat market. It has an extensive network of branches in central cities of Russia. Its clients are represented by more than 400 large, medium and small meat market operators. The holding integrates 15 agricultural companies in Moscow, Volgograd, Orel and Bryansk. It engages in import, wholesale and production of food products, poultry, pork and beef, wheat, malting barley, beat, sugar, concentrated feeding stuff etc. The Holding Company’s sowing area exceeds 100 thousand hectares in the Orel Region.
