OREANDA-NEWS  On 12 December was announced, that the Deputy General Director for IT and Management Technologies of IDGC of Centre Pavel Obukhov took part in II All-Russia Conference “Information Technologies in Energy Industry” which was organized by AH Conferences. The conference was held under the motto “Creation of Effective IT Strategy in Power Companies”. The experts of UES FGC, TopS BI, KES Holding, and AFM Servers took part in the forum. They shared their experience in construction of IT architecture and IT strategy in Mosenergosbyt, TGC-9, UES FGC, IDGC Holding, experience of automation of the accounting and tax reporting of multi-type enterprises of the energy sector. Pavel Obukhov presented the report “Automation System Projects of IDGC of Centre, JSC” to the conference participants.

The main partner of the conference was Sciener company which has been cooperating with IDGC of Centre for a long time and has been successfully implementing SAP ERP solutions for the power sector in the company. This year the SAP company has celebrated the 10th anniversary of successful operation of SAP ERP (enterprise resource planning) system in Belgorodenergo. Later on, the experience of its implementation in the Belgorod power supply system was used in IDGC of Centre.  Pavel Obukhov covered the features of this implementation for the participants of the conference.

According to Pavel Obukhov, the implementation of the process management model in IDGC of Centre means a high degree of the company maturity which was demonstrated in 2008 on the international level: at the forum in Berlin, IDGC of Centre was presented with the Business Process Excellence Award 2008 international award in the Business Process Excellence nomination. And in November, within the final round for reception of the international award for IPMA project management excellence, IDGC of Centre’s project called “Implementation of Corporate Integrated Management System in IDGC of Centre” occupied the third prize place.

“The main strategy of our company consists in intensive development by reaching each consumer of our services, rather than by a development due to the largest consumers of the electric power. IDGC of Centre has the largest number of the personnel with regard to all the other IDGCs. We dispose of the highest percent of municipal networks within our configuration. Our strategic plans include our plan to make the company reach each consumer, each house, and each apartment,” Pavel Obukhov said.
